In March 2024, the exhibition We Are One and Together presented the unique voices of Moldovan artists Inga Edu and Tatiana Frunze at the European Committee of the Regions.

Edu’s works explored structure and balance, using measured lines and layered colours to create compositions of clarity and precision. In contrast, Frunze embraced expressive brushwork and rich textures, her luminous and earthy palettes evoking memory and emotion.

Together, their practices offered complementary perspectives—one architectural, the other sensorial—celebrating the rising presence of Moldovan art within Europe’s cultural landscape. The exhibition carried special resonance as Moldova advances on its path toward joining the European Union, symbolising cultural unity alongside political aspirations.
