The exhibition 'Faces of Peace' is part of an initiative coordinated by Europe's Art to promote diplomacy through art.

 

The exhibition is organised in partnership with the International Peace Institute (MENA).Four contemporary artists from the Middle East presented their paintings on the Presidential Floor of the European Union Committee of the Regions headquarters.

 

The aim of 'Art Diplomacy' is to encourage intercultural and artistic exchange between nations in order to promote peace and collaboration and to diminish hatred based on nationality and religion. It also aims to promote cultural and artistic collaboration in order to inspire a culture of peace and harmony.
