Valeria Barbas (b. 1984, Chișinău, Moldova) is a multimedia artist and researcher whose practice ranges from painting and experimental film to performance and installation. With advanced degrees in composition, painting, and a PhD in culturology, she explores themes of memory, body, and space through immersive and interdisciplinary work. Her installations and films have been featured in various international venues, and she actively bridges scholarly research with avant-garde creative expression.
