Gheorghe Negru was a revered Moldovan painter and art educator whose rare sensitivity and passionate teaching inspired countless children to see the world through the lens of creativity. A fixture at the Centrul de Creație a Copiilor “Ghiocel” in Chișinău, he guided young artists in discovering the expressive power of art. His recent passing in March 2025 leaves a lasting void—but his legacy endures through the hearts and works of the students he nurtured.
