Aurel Stanciu (b. 1959) is a Moldovan painter whose art draws deeply on landscape, memory, and cultural heritage. His canvases gracefully balance introspective realism and lyrical abstraction, using light, texture, and expressive color to evoke both natural and emotional terrain.

His work was featured in the Masters in Slănic artist residency, where he joined fellow Moldovan and Romanian painters in creating pieces that dialogued between tradition and contemporary expression—ranging from vivid nature-inspired landscapes to contemplative abstract forms.
